2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When the site is accessed, the provider automatically collects so-called server log files that your browser transmits:

• IP address of the accessing device
• date and time of access
• the file requested and the amount of data transferred
• referrer URL and the browser / operating system used

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel Inc.

When hosting via Vercel, personal data is transferred to the USA. Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; an adequacy decision by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 45 GDPR therefore exists for this transfer. In addition, Vercel has concluded the EU Standard Contractual Clauses pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.

3. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are served exclusively from our own server. No connections to third-party servers are established for this purpose, and no data is transferred to third parties.

4. Contacting us

If you contact us by email, we process the data you provide (name, email address, content of the enquiry) in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

5. Cookies and reach measurement

This website does not set any cookies.

For reach measurement we use Vercel Web Analytics, a service provided by Vercel Inc. (address see section 2). Vercel Web Analytics operates without cookies and without cross-device or cross-site recognition. It records aggregated usage data such as the pages visited, the referrer URL, the country of origin, and the browser, operating system and device type. From the request data (including the IP address), Vercel derives a hash value that serves solely to distinguish visits within a single day; it is then discarded and cannot be traced back to you. No personal profiles are created.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the statistical analysis of website usage in order to improve our offering. The data processing agreement in place with Vercel (see section 2) also applies to this processing.
